Hometown Christmas Holiday Decoration Celebration

It’s time to come home for the holidays and help spread the cheer.

Sterling businesses are decking the halls for the Hometown Christmas Holiday Decoration Celebration, and your vote helps decide who shines the brightest. Starting November 24, cast your vote for your favorite local business display. Each community member gets one vote — so make it count.

Voting ends December 18, and the winning display will be announced December 19. Let’s light up Sterling together this season.

The Courthouse Lighting: A Sterling Tradition

There’s something magical about watching the Logan County Courthouse burst into light for the very first time each year.

Join us on November 28 at 5:30 p.m. for one of Sterling’s most heartwarming traditions. Choirs will sing, children will cheer, and Santa himself will flip the switch to illuminate the square. Don’t miss this unforgettable kickoff to the holiday season.

Parade of Lights: Sterling’s Streets Sparkle

Get ready for twinkling floats, festive music, and small-town magic under the stars. The Parade of Lights rolls through downtown Sterling on December 4 at 6 p.m., filling the streets with holiday glow and hometown pride.

Bring your family, grab a mug of cocoa, and find your spot along the route — this is one parade you won’t want to miss.

Get parade details here.
