About Us
This website is hosted by the Logan County Lodging Tax Board, a dedicated group of volunteers committed to promoting tourism in Logan County, Colorado. It is the board’s goal to attract visitors from outside Logan County and/or to enhance the experience of visitors to grow awareness of Logan County as a Colorado destination.
The Logan County Lodging Tax Board exists to invest lodging tax dollars in programs designed to increase local revenues through tourism, stimulate economic development in Logan County, and improve the quality of life for Logan County residents.
The Logan County Lodging Tax Board was established and tasked to administer the lodging tax funds collected for Logan County approved by the voters of Logan County in 1988. In general, “revenues collected from Logan County Lodging Tax (1.9%) shall be used only to advertise, market or promote tourism for Logan County.”
Logan County’s lodging tax revenue is used to fund the operation of the Logan County Visitor Center, the marketing projects of the Visitor Center Director, and advertising Logan County events through a funding request process.
