Covid-19 Update
A Message from the Logan County Visitor Center
Since the beginning, Sterling has been the economic hub of northeast Colorado. Offering a connection to nature, a thriving arts and culture scene, and a rich history set in stone over 136 years ago, Sterling and Logan County are proud to offer visitors and residents alike with a relaxing yet unique experience. We remain dedicated to providing an easy-going, free-range tourism destination along with authentic outside experiences and unforgettable local hospitality.
As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, be assured the health and safety of both visitors and residents remain our highest priority, and travelers are asked to step up by wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Please be aware that masks are required in all indoor public spaces throughout the State of Colorado.
Colorado's dial framework standardizes different levels of "openness" at the county level, allowing for certain levels of activity while ensuring we do not surpass our public health and health care capacities. Logan County is currently in the LEVEL RED: SEVERE RISK category, meaning that our case metrics are high, many indoor activities are prohibited or strictly limited, and outdoor activities are encouraged as an alternative.
That is why we’d like to ask for your help in supporting our local businesses, whether you’re a proud member of our vibrant community, a previous visitor, or an aspiring traveler. Restaurants have implemented all sorts of creative ways to enhance your experience here with patio dining, as well as curbside pick-up. Enjoy your outside adventures, then have a take-out meal or margarita-to-go from your favorite local restaurant!
