CORN MAZE MANIA

Be the first to go through the corn maze with this early open date on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Baseggio Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, 16695 County Road 20.5, Atwood, CO. The maze is open to the public from 5-9 pm. Contest is from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Teams (3-5 persons) will be competing to find items and complete the maze to raise money for their favorite charity. Bring the family to cheer on the teams and enjoy the bale slide, corn pits, duck races, climbing wall, mini maze, giant jenga, corn hole, and much more as you complete the maze. Jerry’s Dogs BBQ will be available on site.

Get in on some friendly competition and support a good cause, all at the same time. The 3rd annual 5K Fun Run to benefit JDRF will be Saturday, September 8. JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Registration information is available here.

overland trail museumHow about a fun way to celebrate the “Best of Summer” at the Overland Trail Museum in Sterling? This popular event will be Saturday, September 1. Simply show up anytime between 9 am and 5 pm in order to participate. Favorite summertime activities will be on tap for the entire family including gold panning, summer-themed crafts, coloring pages, activity sheets, squirt guns and even some batting practice on Bison Hill!

In anticipation of summer-like weather for Saturday, lemonade will be served and there will be a cool-down zone in the air conditioned confines of the High Plains Education Center on the museum grounds.

This art gallery/studio/artist co-op is located at 120 N. 4th St., in downtown Sterling.

Transportation will be available from the parking lot to the concert area for those who need it. Gates open at noon for a little cornhole competition, beer and family-friendly fun. The concert will start at 7:30 pm.

Wanna watch a FREE rodeo? Come on out to the Jim Mason Memorial Roping on Sunday, August 5, starting at 10 am at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
