CITY OF LIVING TREES

Sterling is known as the City of Living Trees for its collection of cottonwoods that have been carved into fanciful creatures and inspiring characters by artist Bradford Rhea. While weekdays are best to see them all, many are located outside and the milder temperatures this weekend would be the perfect time to take a self-guided tour.  Learn about the sculptures here.
